Developing Citizenship Values and Practice with Diverse Learners through Creative Arts Strategies:Fostering Social Participation within a Special School Context
The paper explores core values informing creative arts practice which aims to erdhance the fights and capacities of diverse learners within a special school setting,in developing their potential as participatory citizens.Examining notions of democratic engagement and social participation in relation to provision for inclusive education within the UK,it focuses on a study of innovative arts and citizenship educational practice within a special school,designated a School of Creativity.
