Clinical Legal Education in China:Experiences and Challenges
Legal education in the China has been going ahead by leaps and bounds since 1970s,but problems still remain with regard to its goals and teaching methods.Having its origin in American,clinical legal education provides students with experiential training where students learn by doing.Since its transplantation into China in 2000,clinical legal education brought in a new legal teaching method offering a significant ideological and pedagogical change from Chinas traditional legal education system,and played a creative and active role in the cultivation of law school students.In order to assimilate and localize clinical legal education,Chinese law schools still have to overcome considerable obstacles or challenges.
