The optimization design of certain FRP sluice gate
In order to optimization design a FRP sluice,four parameters (plate thickness,web number,web thickness,web height) are analyzed on two integrated performance(maximum deflection and volume fraction) by the ANSYS software.The results show that the plate thickness has a great effect on the volume fraction and the web height has a great effect on the maximum deflection.The web height is the controlling factor in the optimization design.After determining other three parameters,the web height controls the maximum deflection.This research result provides a reference optimization method for designer.
