ANALYSIS OF THE INLFUENCE OF OPERATING CONDITIONS ON THE EVAPORATION RATE OF WATER DURING DRYING IN A SPOUTED BED

  In this work,the influence of operating conditions on the evaporation rate of distilled water during drying in a spouted bed was investigated.Experiments were done for two distinct air inlet geometries and different loads of inert particles,paste feed flow rates and inlet air velocities.Spherical glass beads were used as inert particles.The evaporation rate was estimated as a function of selected independent variables by an empirical equation.The technique of multiple regression allowed to identify the factor the exerted the largest influence on the drying process.
