DRYING KINETICS OF BASIC MAGNESIUM CARBONATE NANOFLOWERS
Basic magnesium carbonate nanoflowers were synthesized by homogenous precipitation method,using magnesium chloride hexahydrate and urea as raw materials.Drying experiments were made and drying curves as well as drying rate curves were obtained at different hot air temperatures and different material layer thicknesses,respectively.Experimental results indicate that hot air temperatures and material layer thicknesses have the similar influence rules on drying curves and drying rate curves of basic magnesium carbonate nanoflowers.Experimental data of drying kinetics for basic magnesium carbonate nanoflowers were fitted with thin layer-drying models,and drying kinetics equations as well as parameters were obtained,including drying rate constant,drying index,activation energy of interface evaporation,diffusion activation energy,apparent activation energy and frequency factor.
