DETERMINATION OF THERMODYNAMIC EQUILIBRIUM OF PIONEERING SEEDS

  In this work the main objectives are the experimental determination of equilibrium moisture sorption isotherms through direct method,evaluation of the hysteresis phenomena between desorption and adsorption processes and the determination of the isosteric heat and the entropy of sorption,through a thermodynamic approach to the isotherms.The isotherms had a typical behavior of the phenomena they represent and the hysteresis between desorption and adsorption curves decreased with an increase in temperature.Results have also demonstrated that the net isosteric heat and entropy of sorption decrease with an increase in the equilibrium moisture content of the material.
