EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF FREEZE-DRYING FOR PRODUCING STICHOPUS JAPONICUS POWDER
Sea cucumber (Stichopus japonicus) is health function product which is rich in bioactive nutrients.It is an effective way to preserve its nutrients by freeze-drying.In this paper,eutectic temperature of sea cucumber pulp and concentrated liquid of sea cucumber boiling water were measured by electric resistance method,and the experiment of sea cucumber powder produced by freeze-drying has been studied.The nutrients and ultrafine powder particle size of freeze-dried sea cucumber powder were measured by Agilent 6890-5973N GC-MS and Tu-1901UV-Vis Spectrophotometer.The results indicate that the sea cucumber preserved by freeze-drying is not only the integrity nutrients are preserved,but also the freeze dried sea cucumber powder particle size is up to 6μm,so it is very convenient and easy to be absorbed for all kinds of people,especially for patients.
