MODELLING OF FLUIDIZED BED DRYING AND COATING:COMBINATION OF STATISTICAL APPROACH,GENETIC ALGORITHM AND NEURAL NETWORK

  The goal of this work is the development of an integrated systems approach to modeling of optimal quality of pharmaceutical encapsulated products.The integrated system approach allows selection of the type of encapsulating polymer and finding optimal conditions for fluidized bed encapsulation without extensive experiments.In the framework of the integrated approach a system was developed which consists of the following modules: an expert system for polymer type selection,associated database,a mathematical model and a coating quality control system.
