Effects of Different Fertilizer Amount on Chloroplast Ultra-structure and Photosynthesis of Korla Fragrant Pear

This experiment studied the effects of different amounts of fertilizer on chloroplast ultra-structure and photosynthesis characteristics of 10-and 20-year-old Korla Fragrant Pear trees. In the experiment, four treatments were carried out, with application of 30 Kg,50 Kg,80 Kg and 100 Kg of farmyard manure. The findings showed that the chlorophyll content, the photosynthetic rate and starch content have been increased to a certain degree with the increasing levels of fertilizer. The volume and quantity of the starch grain in leaf cells have increased with the increasing amount of fertilizer. When the amount of fertilizer reached a high level,it led to the reduction of the chlorophyll content and the photosynthetic rate. From the experiment,it can be concluded that the amount of fertilizer must be controlled in a rational range in accordance with the growth status of Korla Fragrant Pear trees.
