The Climate Space Line Pattern of Tomato Leaf

  To evaluate the formation of leaf temperature,the paper measured the temperature differences between tomato leaf surface and air at different wind speeds and under controlled environment temperature and light intensity.The latent heat due to tomato water loss was analyzed by measuring the weight loss of the tomato leaf at intervals during the measurement periods.Its found that the relationship between radiation absorption and ambient air temperature of the tomato leaf at different wind speeds had similar pattern to that in the Gates climate-space diagram.Vegetations,like their counterpart animals,have their own climate space also.This result established the tomato leaf climate space characteristics and paved the way for studying the tolerance of tomato leaf at low temperature.
