The Role of Calcium in Mediating LeERFs Expression during Tomato Pedicel Abscission

　　In order to illuminate the effect of calcium on the ethylene responsive transcription factors during abscission,the paper studied the expression of six ethylene receptor LeERF genes by different treatments.Ethylene treatment accelerated abscission,and ethylene treatment induced all LeERFs but 3 expressions,which implicated that LeERF1,2,4 and 5 may be the key factors of ethylene regulated tomato floral abscission.In the presence of ethylene,calcium treatment further increased abscission.Compared with ethylene treatment,calcium treatment further enhanced expression of LeERF5 genes but depressed LeERF 1,2 and 4 expressions.
