Effect of Soil Amendments Used in Sandy Soil on the Photosynthetic Rate of Tomatoes

  In order to reveal the regulating capacity of different soil amendments on sandy soil,pots experiments were carried out.Leaf photosynthetic rates of tomatoes planted on sandy soil amended by organic fertilizer,mushroom residue and biogas sludge were measured under 60% and 100% soil moisture conditions.All three amendments can be helpful to improve leaf photosynthetic rates and photosynthesis,and lay a good foundation for the growth of tomatoes.The effect of biogas sludge is the most significant.The next one is organic fertilizer.Biogas sludge is the last one.Among all the treatments,adding 10% biogas sludge is the best.It can significantly enhance the photosynthesis of tomatoes,and is among the best of these three soil amendments for sandy soil.
