Construction of Plant Expression Vectors about the SERK Gene of Pingyi Tiancha and its Crossbred Offspring

  In order to explore the molecular mechanism about the effect of SERK gene on the apomixis in Pingyi Tiancha (Malus hupehensis var.pingyiensis) and its crossbred progenies,the ovary cDNA of Pingyi Tiancha and its crossbred offspring No.33 strain were used as the templates,and SERK1 gene was amplified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR).SERK1 gene was then cloned into plant expression vector pBI121 and its plant expression vectors were obtained,which were pBI121-MhSERK1 and pBI121-MhdSERK1.DNA sequencing showed that pBI121-MhSERK1 and pBI 121-MhdSERK1 vectors had been constructed successfully,and could be used in the subsequent transgenic research.
