Study on Structure of Vascular Bundle in Scale Cutting Propagation of Lilium Asiatic hybrid ‘Tresor’

　　The structure of vascular bundle of Lilium Asiatic hybrid ‘Tresor was studied with paraffin section technique during scale cutting propagation.The results showed that lily vascular bundle was composed of bundle sheath,primary phloem and primary xylem.The primary xylem occured at the adaxial of the vascular bundle and formed a V in the cross-section.At early stage of scale cutting,much of xylem canal were spiral vessels,with thickening cell wall,but slight.With the culture time gone by,xylem canal turned to be pitted vessels with higher water conveyance efficiency.
