The Cloning of fasciated Gene from Two Different Tomato Varieties and the Functional Analysis

　　The specific primers of fasciated gene were designed,and the coding sequence of the gene was obtained by RT-PCR from two different tomato varieties,FL 1 and MLK 1.DNA sequence alignment of the fasciated between the two varieties was performed,and its found that the coding sequence was consistent.Then the paper collected the YABBY transcription factor sequences and their functions in plant and analyzed the phylogenetic relationship between the fasciated gene in Solanum lycopersicum and YABBY genes from Arabidopsis,Oryza sativa,Antirrhinum majus and Triticum aestivum.
