Influence of Different Leaf Ages and Leaf Positions of Greenhouse Tomatoes on Photosynthetic Characteristic

  In order to investigate the relationship between leaves and net photosynthetic rate,and methods for the most use of net photosynthetic rate,two different varieties of greenhouse tomatoes (large-fruit-type tomatoes and small-fruit-type tomatoes) were analyzed.Photosynthetic characteristic indexes,such as net photosynthetic rate,light compensation point,light saturation point,CO2 compensation point and CO2 saturation point were tested in this experiment,and the influences of different leaf ages and different leaf positions of greenhouse tomatoes on those indexes were discussed.Conditioning methods were found out to make the most use of net photosynthetic rate,then to increase yield of photosynthetic products.The conclusions are described as follow:The leaf age influences the net photosynthetic rate of tomato leaves.With different leaf positions,the diurnal variation presents diauxie curve,which is obvious; the light compensation point,light saturation point,CO2 compensation point and CO2 saturation point are totally different.The conclusions we founded out can offer theoretical basis on the increase of the yield and quality of facilities horticultural crops,and the economic efficieney of greenhouse crop production.
