STUDY ON OCCUPANT COMFORT MODE IN WIND EXCITATION USING FUZZY PROBABILITY METHOD

  Occupant comfort mode in wind-induced vibration was proposed and studied based on fuzzy probability method.The predictions of the comfort mode were compared firstly with the existing results by other researchers to verify the reliability of the method proposed in this paper.Vibration comfort of four types of buildings was then investigated and assessed separately in detail by the proposed mode.Parameters of influencing the occupant comfort,such as variation coefficient and membership function (MF),were discussed and optimal results were achieved.The results show that the fuzzy probability method is a feasible and reliable way of establishing the occupant comfort mode and good predictions can be obtained,especially for the modes with MF1 and MF4.Occupant comforts of buildings of types A,B and C are very sensitive to vibration environment.Several helpful ways of improving occupant comfort are suggested according to detailed research and discussion on comfort ratio.
