CANONICAL CORRELATION THEORY APPLIED IN RELIABILITY OF STRUCTURAL SYSTEM

  When solving failure probabilities of structural system,the calculations of correlation coefficients between the failure modes are lack of theoretical basis and accuracy,therefore,canonical correlation analysis has been introduced into structural reliability analysis,and the correlation between the failure modes has been explained reasonably; It has been proved that the correlation between the failure modes can be described by the second canonical correlation coefficients accurately; The correctness has been checked by typical numerical examples.
