NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF WIND LOADS AND WIND ENVIRONMENT IN SUPER-STAR HOTEL AT SANYA PHOENIX ISLAND
Computational fluid dynamics software is used to simulate the mean wind-induced pressure and wind environment in Super-star Hotel at Sanya Phoenix Island.The distribution regularity and behavior of mean wind pressure were analyzed using different inflow wind directions.The representative simulated wind pressure was then compared with wind tunnel test data.Results show that the numerical simulation agrees well with the wind tunnel test,verifying the accuracy of the former.The wind interference effects on the building are also discussed in detail.
