EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON THE CONNECTOR AND BEARING PERFORMANCE OF LIGHTWEIGHT AGGREGATE CFT COMPOSITE BEAM
In order to study the performance of lightweight aggregate concrete-filled steel tube (LACFST) composite beam,push out test of the connector and bending test of the composite beam were done.Three kinds of connector were considered,including perfobond strip,stud and bent-up rebar.The failure mode,deformation development process and bearing performance were studied.The results show that the perfobond strip shear connector has a good bearing performance with obviously high bearing capacity and small slip.So,it was suggested to use perfobond strip as shear connector of LACFST composite beam.The LACFST composite beam which connected by perfobond strip has good ductility and high bearing capacity.The composite beam worked overall with no slip between LACFST and concrete slab deck.The whole section was accorded with the plane cross-section assumption in the failure process.At last,the design bearing capacity value,flexural rigidity value in application phase and displacement ductility ratio were got from the test.
