ANALYSIS OF FLEXURAL CAPACITY OF THE HIGH-STRENGTH COLD-FORMED ULTRA-THIN-WALL STEEL TRUSS BEAM

  The flexural capacity of a type of high-strength cold-formed ultra-thin-wall steel truss beam was analyzed mainly by FEM software,considering nonlinearity of material and geometry.It mainly investigated the flexural capacity and failure mode of the high-strength cold-formed ultra-thin-wall steel truss beam,and analyzed the influence of different beam heights on the flexural capacity of the tTUSS beam.The results showed that the main buckling modes of truss beam were local buckling and distortional buckling,which mainly caused by the ultra-thin wall of the members; from the perspective of failure modes,the flexural capacity of truss beam was greatly influenced by the C-type opening cross section of members; and with the increase of beam height,the ultimate flexural capacity and the flexural capacity in serviceability limit state of the high-strength cold-formed ultra-thin-wall steel truss beam increased obviously.
