ANALYSIS OF LIVE LOAD NONLINEAR EFFECT OF COMPOSITE GIRDER CABLE-STAYED BRIDGE WITH THREE TOWERS
Taking Erqi Yangtze River Bridge as an engineering example, the spatial nonlinear finite element model named double-girder is established. The geometrically nonlinear behavior of whole bridge is analyzed under dead load plus live load in normal service stage. The nonlinear analysis involves cable sag, large displacement and beam-column.The three nonlinear factors effect on internal force of side tower and main girder are investigated. The results show that the effect of geometric nonlinearity is small. The nonlinear effect on bending moments is about 3.3%,and is 1.8% for axial force. The maximum vertical deflection is 1.001 m and is increased by 3.0% compared to linear value. The double-girder nonlinear model, which have less element numbers and conveniently calculate, can apply to the nonlinear analysis of composite girder cable-stayed bridge with three towers.
