ANALYSIS ON STRUCTURE SYSTEM OF BUCKING-RESTRAINED BRACED ON STEEL FRAME
The experiments of two steel frames with triple-steel tube BRBs were carried out and their finite element models were built with general finite element analysis software ANSYS.The comparison between the analysis results of finite element models and the experimental results reviewed that the real structure could be well simulated by these finite element models; The experiments indicate that triple-steel tube BRBs have excellent energy dissipation capacity while its stability of performance need some enhancement.By analyzing the structure systematically with ANSYS,the horizontal stiffness that BRBs supplies for steel frame need reduce in some degree.
