THEORETICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON UNCONSOLIDATED-ISOLATION STRUCTURE AND UNCONSOLIDATED BEARING
The new non-consolidation of isolated structure proposed for low-rise and multi-storey buildings structure and the non-consolidation bearing were conducted in the paper. The static tests of viscoelastic material and the non-consolidation bearing were performed in order to study mechanical properties of viscoelastic material and the non-consolidation bearing.Experimental results show that the two viscoelastic material have similar energy dissipation capacity, and the vertical stiffness is great and the vertical energy dissipation capacity is limited of the bearings.Experimental results also show the bearing the horizontal hysteresis curve is a double cone.Compare with the input peak acceleration, structural models peak acceleration is decreased 10%-20%,and the acceleration of the top is increased 10%-50% under the rare earthquake of magnitude of 8 and 9.This type of structure has obviously damping effect comparing with common seismic structure.Impulse response analysis on the model of 2 layers steel frame tapered non-consolidation of isolated structure modeled by general finite element software under earthquake action is introduced in the paper.Analysis results indicate that structural impulse response is caused with stiffness changing when the support displacement is greater than cover plate spacing. The generation of structural impulse response is related to site type, and the bearing is approapriate for applying in the first or second class site.
