DYNAMIC NONLINEAR ANALYSIS OF THE SHANGHAI PUDONG SHANGRILA HOTEL EXTENSION ENGINEERING

  The constitutive models of concrete material are essential to the nonlinear analysis of reinforced concrete structure.In this paper,firrstly,a concrete uniaxial hysteresis constitutive model and a practical elastic plastic damage constitutive model are introduced,both of which are established by the author before,the concrete uniaxial hysteresis constitutive model is on the basis of comparison and analysis of six selected typical models,and the elastic plastic damage constitutive model can accurately simulate the behaviours of concrete under biaxial loading,then both models are developed in ABAQUS via UMAT,and used to simulate the Shanghai Pudong Shangrila hotel extension engineering,a building of a complex frame-shear wall structure with 152.8 meters height exceeding limitation and 41 layers and characterized by plane irregularity and large span transferring at high level.To study the seismic performance index of this building,a shaking table test is carried out by State Key Laboratory of Civil Engineering in Tongji University.The model is established in PKPM and then be converted to ABAQUS,in which fiber model is used to simulate the frame elements and sell model is used to simulate shear-walls,model analysis shows that both of the models are very similar.Through simulation on both frequently occurred earthquake intensity and seldom occurred earthquakes intensity,we can see that the simulation results and test results are coincide well in maximal floor displacement,maximal displacement angle and time history displacement of the top of the building,which proved that the proposed constitutive models by the author is effective in analyzing large complex structures and the selected element models are reasonable.Through the analysis of the damage nephogram of shear-walls of the building in critical moment,we can see that the developed elastic plastic damage model can reflect the failure process of shear-walls of the building,and it is convenient for the engineer to grasp the failure model.
