NOVEL DESIGN OF THE MODEL OF DISTRIBUTED NAMENODE IN HDFS

  Hadoop 1 Distributed File System (HDFS),with master-slaves structure,is the primary storage system used by Hadoop applications.Namenode is a single master node in HDFS 2,which have some drawbacks,such as single point of failure,performance bottlenecks,and the scale of expansibility.Based on the security and efficiency 3 of the Namenode,in this paper,we propose a novel Namenode distributed protocol.Meanwhile,in order to improve the stability,the Namenode in the cluster is configured with HA function,the result shows that this design can improve the backup efficiency significantly.
