USING DATA MINING METHODS TO BUILD A GREEN DATA CENTER
Nowadays on a global scale,data centers consume a large proportion of the electricity.It is estimated that the data center power consumption is about 26GW,accounting for 1.4 percent of the worlds total electricity consumption,equivalent to the electricity generated by 26 nuclear power plants.It is necessary for restriction on data center energy consumption.Data mining is to analyze the observed data set,its purpose is to find the unknown relationship between the owner and data,it can be understood and its valuable innovative ways to summarize data.In this paper,the data of energy use in a data center are analyzed by using data mining methods,these analysis can support for improving energy efficiency.
