AN ADVANCED RBAC MODEL FOR SAAS-BASED SYSTEMS

　　SaaS (Software as a Service) has been gaining wide attention all over the world in recent years.Realizing data isolation and data sharing is essential to the securities and practicalities in SaaS system.However,the traditional RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) model cant meet the above demands,and lacks good self-management abilities.In this paper,an improved RBAC model,ARBAC (Advanced Role-Based Access Control) model,is proposed.It solves the problem of data isolation and data sharing in SaaS system by introducing the role trees and the groups and it enhances the self-management abilities by introducing the system administrator role.To verify the effect of ARBAC model,it is applied to the CRM system with flexible permissions which the traditional RBAC model is difficult to realize.
