MINKOWSKI FRACTAL YAGI PATCH ANTENNA FOR SIZE REDUCTION
In this article,a novel Minkowski fractal Yagi patch antenna for size reduction is proposed.For comparison,a Yagi patch antenna without Minkowski fractal is proposed at the same time.In this article,we analyzed different iterative degree ofMinkowski fractal Yagi antennas and different ratio coefficient of Minkowski fractal Yagi antenna.Compared with original Yagi patch antenna,whose central frequency in 3GHz,the Yagi antenna with a 1st fractal to driven patch achieves size reduction of 30%.And the Yagi antenna with a 2nd fractal to driven patch and 1st fractal to reflector patch achieves size reduction of 51%.At the same time,antenna gain is stable during the band of 2.9-3.0GHz.The result shows that the proposed Minkowski fractal Yagi antenna is valid in size reduction.
