A NOVEL UPLINK SCHEDULING MECHANISM FOR WiMAX NETWORKS

  According to the research on the uplink scheduling mechanism for WiMAX system,this paper proposes a novel fair scheduling algorithm based on time delay and throughput.Scheduling scheme can be changed to adapt to changes in throughput of service class,in this way fairness of the system can be improved.The emergency scheduler based on time delay in the mechanism can guarantee the QoS and fairness of those lower priority services.Compared with the other two layer scheduling algorithms,the algorithm proposed in this paper optimizes scheduling fairness on the fist layer,making fairness guaranteed at the initial stage.
