A NOVEL PERFORMANCE EVALUATION METHOD OF MULTI-FOCUS IMAGE FUSION

摘要：

　　The automatic performance evaluation of multi-focus image fusion is an important problem in digital image processing.So far,there are no satisfied methods which solve the problem well.Based on the idea of point sharpness method,a novel performance evaluation method,called improved point sharpness,is proposed here.Compared with conventional performance evaluation methods,the new method produced better results.
