RESEARCH ON TRAFFIC SIGNS DISTANCE MEASUREMENT ALGORITHM BASED ON BINOCULAR STEREO VISION

  This paper describes the distance measurement principle based on the binocular stereo vision,and traffic signs distance measurement algorithm with stronger.robust and adaptability are proposed accordingly.The research adopts obtains three-dimensional coordinates of space point by using the algorithm for midpoint of vertical line of bifacial straight line in approximation to three-dimensional point,and through calculating comer point matching with left and right of corresponding spatial point of three-dimensional coordinates in binocular vision to get the distance of traffic signs.The test proved that the distance calculation error was controlled in the range of 5%.
