DDOS ATTACKS BASED ON SELF-SIMILAR TRAFFIC IN MANET

摘要：

　　A mobile ad-hoc network (MANET) has some feature leading to being attacked easily.Distributed denial of services (DDoS) is one kind of attacks having great impacts on network performance.While most DDoS attacks according to each protocol layers vulnerabilities have corresponding detection and prevention methods.This paper focuses on how to generate self-similar attacking traffic at the target node from multiple collaborated nodes.Experiments show that the proposed attack,generated with special attacking parameters,has great impact on the whole MANET without being detected easily.
