Optimization via Simulation of Level of Repair Analysis

　　This paper deals with Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) for the maintenance of complex engineering systems.We model and solve a single echelon,multi indenture LORA problem and we simultaneous define a spare parts policy and the maintenance resources capacity.The problem is solved through an optimization via simulation approach that explores the search space efficiently.Experimental results on an illustrative test problem are discussed.
