Research on the Ink Absorption Test Method of High Reflectivity Paper

　　Based on the Vacuum Aluminized Paper,this thesis mainly researches the ink absorption test method of high reflectivity paper.It demonstrates the ordinary K&N method which use whiteness meter to measure the paper reflectivity is not applicable to the Vacuum Aluminized Paper,which by means of combination of theoretical analysis and experimental verification.And through analyzing its key characteristics,the K&N absorption test method has been improved and final use glossiness meter with 45°angle to measure the paper reflectivity and use K&N index to represent the ink absorption ability.This method can be used in high reflectivity paper,such as Vacuum Aluminized Paper,and the K&N index can relatively truly response the ink absorption ability.Our experiments show that the improved K&N absorption test method can accurately measuring the ink absorbency of high reflectivity paper.
