Potentiality in Energy Saving and Emission Reduction of Magnesium Smelting Enterprise Using the Pidgeon Process in Yulin city

  In recent years,enterprises for magnesium production using the pidgeon process in Yulin city is developing rapidly,but the energy consumption and the discharge of pollutants for unit product is increasing also straightly because the poor technology and environmental protecting facilities.This paper analyzes the change of energy consumption and discharge of pollutants on a 25,000t/y magnesium smelting enterprise using the pidgeon process after technical reconstruction in energy conservation and environmental protection,then clear that enterprises for magnesium production using the pidgeon process in Yulin city have more potentiality in Energy saving and emission reduction,and quantified the potentiality.
