Experimental Study on Resource Reclamation of low-grade Copper Oxide Tailings in High-altitude Region
Based on a resource reclamation experimental study on a low-grade copper oxide heap leach tailings in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,a new copper oxide leaching process was proposed in this paper. The leach rate of Cu reached 85% under the conditions of sulfuric acid concentration of 100g/L,liquid to solid ratio of 2,leaching temperature 70℃,agitation leaching period of 2h,and a 2nd phase of high acid leaching to the leached residue. The leaching residue after Cu extraction can be fully used in the cement production as raw materials substituting for clay, which gave rise in the clinker production increase of 10% compared to the clay ingredients, the clinker standard coal consumption decrease by 8 %,and significant economic and environmental benefits.
