Water Recycling by the Cascade Water Supply in Steel Enterprises
At present,water consumption of the iron and steel industry accounts for about 10% of the worlds industrial water consumption.How to save and recycle water has become a relatively outstanding issue to reduce the total amount of industrial water supply.Nowadays,many iron and steel enterprises upgrade wastewater zero discharge,especially in water-deficient areas.In fact,if iron and steel enterprises cant design or implement a sound cascade water supply mode,wastewater zero discharge will be difficult to be truly implemented.This paper takes the advanced treatment of wastewater and the cascade water supply as an example to demonstrate the requirement of water quality in each process of steel producing,the specific way of cascade water supply,and the importance of the cascade water supply in the water recycling.
