Analysis of the Impact of the Groundwater Drawdown of the Opencast Mining on the Vegetation
The opencast mining has great impact on the ecologicalenvironment, one of which is the groundwater drawdown that has an impact on the vegetation. The study analyzed the impact of the groundwater on the vegetation through the forecasting of the groundwater drawdown and ecological overlay methods. The main conclusions are:① the groundwater drawdown has the greatest impact on the vegetation within the range of 100m from the stope, and the impact decreases as the distance from the stope increases; ② the original vegetation communities structure and composition within the range of 100m from the stope will change during the operation period,so regular observation is needed during this period. Therefore, the study can provide the theoretical basis for the ecological protection of the opencast mines and the new direction for the analysis of the ecological impact of the opencast mines.
