Analysis of Vegetation Spatio-Temporal Evolution in Qaidam Basin Based on MODIS Data
It is necessary to study the evolution rules of the ecological environment for rationally exploiting the rich resources in Qaidam basin.The spatio-temporal variation rules of vegetation directly reflect the changing circumstance of ecological environment.The NDVI of MODIS12,based on maximum synthesis method and analytical method of difference,is used to analyze vegetation variation rules in the whole year of 2010 and the period of 2000-2011.The spatio-temporal results indicate that the overall change of vegetation coverage is not obvious.The severe degradation and remarkable improvement only occurred in a few areas.
