Possibilities and Methods of Chinese Traditional Culture Breaking the Predicament of Modernity

摘要：

　　From the point of political and social science,modernity is a social planning under the control of technology.However,with the relationship between man and nature and among men themselves being strained,and the withering of man in the spiritual dimension,facts are clear that the social planning of modernity is now in predicament.The reason why the predicament is around is in close links with the endless expansion of Western instrumental rationality.To come out of this predicament,traditional Chinese culture might be the answer.This thesis is,in the analysis of modernity predicament,to make an illustration of the possibilities and methods of traditional Chinese culture,as a soft power,breaking the predicament of modernity.
