Analysis on the Development of American Soft Power from the Perspective of Washington Consensus
In the context oftheglobal order changes,When the Washington Consensus with Neo-liberalism color came,it undergone a paradigm characteristic shift from economic prescription to political economic and culture triple system.At the same time,the concept of the soft power by Joseph Nye raised and explored by itself.As a value summary and policy path,Washington Consensus has an impact on the application and development of the soft power.The practices of the Washington Consensus in Latin America,and Thatcher Revolution as former developed country version carried out in British,which promoted social progress but also showed some disadvantages.However,Germany and Japan with their own actual on the road with the color of state intervention excluded more and more stability characteristics.After Financial crisis,America which is the original version of the Washington Consensus needs to face the drawbacks,and play a power and carrier of the soft power role again,so that maintains a dominant position in the countries of the world.
