Comparison between the Harmonious World Idea and the Soft Power Theory

　　Leaders of China put forward the harmonious world idea to illuminate Chinese view toward the whole world since 2005.Joseph Nyes soft power theory emphasizes the significance of attractiveness.We,in this article,compared the harmonious world idea with soft power theory in three dimensions which are mainly about the view on civilizations,the consistency of domestic politics with intemational politics and the outline of analysis,and find that they are alike in the first two dimensions and quite different in the third dimension.We are looking forward to further exploration in favor of the construction and establishment of an international relations theory based on harmonious world idea.
