Relationship between Soft Information Sharing and Logistics Firms Performance Based on the Theory of Embeddedness
The paper studies the social network embeddedness of logistics firm which leads to soft information sharing among them so as to affect the performance of logistics firms.The aim of the research is to analyze the relationship between the logistics firms in making strategic plan and improving performance based on different styles of the embeddedness.According to the embeddedness theory,the questionnaires were designed to investigate the logistics firms by means of five-point measurement.Based on the investigation data,the relationship between the embeddedness and effect of soft information on improving the performance is statistically analyzed by utilizing the software,LISREL,to build the Structure Equation Model (SEM).The results show that the degree of correlation between the embeddedness and effect of soft information on improving the performance is very high.Therefore,the social network embeddedness of logistics firm is very important to the firms for their strategic development plan.
