Discussions on Applicability of Using Typha Angustifolia Linn to Restore the Eutrophication in Changchuns Beihu Lake Wetland
This paper studies the adaptation of the growth of the dominant plant,Typha angustifolia Linn in Changchuns Beihu Lake wetland area to this areas bubble pond eutrophication environment and the N and P enrichment capacity of stems and leaves of Typha angustifolia Linn.From the data and materials available,we obtained the growth features and economic values of Typha angustifolia Linn.The results showed that in the Beihu Lake area,Typha angustifolia Linn was able to grow well in substrate sludge and within the scope of N and P contents of a relatively large overlying water,having a strong adaptation to the eutrophication growing environment.Within the scope of nutrient state of substrate sludge in the Beihu Lake area,with the increase in the nutrient degree of substrate sludge,the enrichment capacity for N of aboveground part of Typha angustifolia Linn would continue to be strengthened,and the threat from the N content was not found.And after the nutrient state of substrate sludge reached to a certain height,the enrichment capacity for P continued to be strengthened as well,and no phenomenon was discovered that it was threatened by the P content.The N and P contents in stems and leaves were relatively high,which could bring away lots of N and P from harvests.Additionally,there were many Typha angustifolia Linn communities in the Beihu Lake area with a large amount of growth and high economic benefits.Typha angustifolia Linn was applicable to phytoremediation of eutrophication in the Beihu Lake wetland.
