Spectroscopic Study of 2-Thiobarbituric Acid Modified Gold Nanoparticles
Gold nanoparticles with a 13 nm diameter were synthesized and modified by a pH-sensitive,ionizable thiols acid,2-thiobarbituric acid (TBA).After modification,the maximum absorbance wavelength shifted from 520 to 524 nm.Several effects were also investigated,including the pH,the salt and the metal ions effects.
