Electrical Conductivity Research of Inhomogeneous Ceramic-Metal Composites
In this paper the electrical conductivity of Cu2O matrix inhomogeneous composites were tested.Cu2O matrix inhomogeneous composites, which were prepared by traditional powder metallurgy method, were with different Cu content and porosities. The results show that the electrical conductivity as a function of Cu content is consistent with percolation theory. The relationship between electrical conductivity and porosity can be calculated using the equation,σ-=σ0(1-θ)n.When the Cu content is below the percolation threshold, the temperature dependence of the electrical conductivity shows a hysteresis phenomenon.
