A Compact High Power Pulsed Field Generator with Fast Rising-time

  A compact high power pulsed field generator for measurement of pulsed field shielding effectiveness (SE) in time domain is developed.To obtain fast rising-time of pulse voltage,a liquid gap switch with electronically mechanical trigger electrode is designed.A V-type loaded antenna is designed as to electromagnetic field simulator.The radiated field of this antenna is used for SE measurement and immunity test.By using the liquid gap switch,the voltage rise time is reduced to approximately 1.8 ns and the peak value of the pulse electric field radiated by the simulator is over 9 kV/m at 0.6 m in front of the antenna.
