Study on the texture evolution of high strength deep drawing dual-phase steels1
Deep drawing dual-phase (DP) steel for the usage in car outer panel was piloted in laboratory.SEM,XRD and tensile tests were used to characterize the microstructures, mechanical properties and to determine the texture. The results indicate that the development of the texture by hot rolling, cold rolling and annealing in the DP steel is inherited. The texture of cold-rolled sheet mainly consists of relatively strong α fiber texture and weaker γfiber texture and the 223<110> orientation is identified as the stable orientation. After annealed at 860℃,theγfiber texture strengtens andα fiber texture weakens obviously. The gap of the density in 111<110> orientation and 111 <112> orientation inγfiber texture is small in the DP steel, which improves the earing behaviour in deep drawing. The tensile strength of the test DP steel is 440 MPa,elongation and r value exceed 35% and 1.4,respectively,which is satisfied to the properties requirement of high strength IF steel and the texture is also similar to IF steel.
