Study and road base course performance of lime-flyash-cement stabilized weathered granite material

  Based on the problem of large number of the weathered granite exist along the expressway in Henans western region.In order to recycle the excavation and meet the social and economic benefits,this paper attempt to improve its material property.The weathered granite material has the property of easy to disintegrate and poorly graded.Bases on the present research situation and project condition,the paper used the lime-flyash-cement to improve the weathered granite material for the pavement sub-base.The four type tests of compaction,strange,dry shrinkage and temperature shrinkage were taken to evaluate the effect of road base course performance of lime-flyash-cement stabilized weathered granite material,and choose the best scheme was 2∶ 4∶16∶ 78.The research from the tests can offer references to the weathered granite material used in pavement engineering.
